very very disappointing, November 12, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: iRobot Scooba 385 Floor Washing Robot (Kitchen) wow, what a load of rubbish. for the amount of money they charge this is absolutely not worth it.
followed all the instructions, fully charged the unit, filled the clean tank as required. cleared my bathroom floor (tiled). Powered on and clicked go.
it would not go. followed troubleshooting tips, tried again, still would not go. tried a third time and gave it a little nudge and presto it started! whooo hooo I thought.
a few minutes later, it stopped, same error as before. now i'm wiser, i gave a it a nudge and it resumed.
then 5 minutes later it stopped again, this time a different warning light - one about the wheels being stuck, followed the troubleshooting guide again, - could not clear the error, - none of the wheels were stuck. had to power down powering down meant the unit had to restart the whole cleaning cycle again.
five minutes later, got the same wheel stuck error. battery end up dying room did not get cleaned - the... Read more

Very Nice!, December 5, 2011 By This review is from: iRobot Scooba 385 Floor Washing Robot (Kitchen) I had an older version of the Scooba that worked pretty well. The new series is even better. It does a reasonable job at cleaning - not as good as by hand, but MUCH better than me not doing it at all and sitting on the couch. All in all, a nice (though pricey) device for something looking to automate a chore they'd prefer not to do themselves, or otherwise nice for people who need to clean often (e.g. kids, pets, etc.). Just make sure to use it fairly often (few times a month), otherwise the batteries start to lose their ability to hold a charge.

Recommend iRobot 385 for those countries which use 240v as the adapter voltage input from 110 -240v....!!!
